Budapest Airport Transfer - Hungarian Grand Prix Helicopter transfers F.A.Q.

We provide helicopter charter flights in Hungary during the Formula 1 GP in 2025. The flights are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the weekend of the Hungarian F1 GP. The flights depart from Budapest and arrive at the Grand Prix location, known as Hungaroring or GP Circuit. We provide one-way flights to the GP, return from the GP, and return flights including both ways.

Our pricing varies depending on the day of the flight. To get a quote, please use the booking form the selecting the flight route and the number of passengers.

The flight typically lasts between 8 to 10 minutes.

Our fleet includes Robinson R44, Bell 206 JetRanger, and EC120 models. We may extend our fleet further before the event.

You are booking the seats of the helicopter, so it is a shared flight. In case you prefer a private flight, please contact us directly for a quote.

We offer a 5% discount if you book for multiple days (Friday or Saturday, not only Sunday). Also, returning customers receive a 5% discount. Please note that discounts cannot be combined; only one discount applies, and we will always offer the larger discount.

We accept both credit card payments online and cash payments at our helipad. Cash payments are accepted in EUR, GBP, USD, and HUF. If paying in cash, the amount must match the details in the offer/reservation, or it will be adjusted based on the daily exchange rate. Your reservation is confirmed regardless of the payment method chosen.

The race is planned to start at 15:00 and usually ends around 16:40, followed by a ceremony lasting 15-30 minutes.

We are monitoring the grand prix, and in case of any delay, we will also adjust our schedule accordingly.

Safety is our primary priority. Our flights can operate in most weather conditions, and we closely monitor forecasts to ensure safe operations. If weather conditions temporarily prevent flying, we will adjust the schedule accordingly.

In the very rare event that a flight must be cancelled due to weather — a situation that has not occurred in over 15 years - we will issue a full refund of the flight cost.

There is no age limit for flying with us. Children under the age of 2 can travel for free on the lap of a parent or guardian. All other passengers will fly on their own seats at full price.

Cancellations must be submitted in written form via email to [email protected]. If we receive your cancellation at least 24 hours before the planned flight, you are entitled to a 100% refund. Cancellations made later or no-shows are charged 50% of the fees. If, for any reason, we - the company - cancel the flight, then you are entitled a 100% refund.

The location of our helipad in Budapest will be confirmed 1-2 weeks prior to the event.
There is a high chance this year we will have the helipad again near the Danube.

Yes, we have limited parking spaces available at our Budapest helipad.

Passengers departing from Budapest should arrive at the helipad 15 minutes before their planned departure time.
For departures from the Grand Prix, you should arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time.

Our helipad at the Hungaroring is located near the MAIN GATE (4-5 minutes walk).
The helipad is marked with H6PR+4X.

Yes, we provide taxi pickup and drop-off service for any address within Budapest.

For pickup to the Grand Prix, we schedule the taxi 45 minutes before your departure time from Budapest to allow sufficient time for travel to our helipad, check-in, and buffer. On the way back, the taxi pick-up is scheduled 15 minutes after return departure at our helipad.

The check-in process is mandatory for insurance and regulatory purposes and helps us in assigning passengers to helicopters appropriately. Weights should be provided with an accuracy of plus or minus 5 kg.
